Broken 8

|
Gang, By the way, I forgot to tell you that I broke my Trikke 8 about a month ago. I was learning how to trikke backwards, and I kept stressing the frame by either compressing the legs together or pulling them apart as if it were a big Thanksgiving wishbone. And I'm not talking a gentle stretching. I was compressing the footpads almost completely together and was pulling that wishbone apart about 1.5 feet extra. Well, it took it's toll, and the connection end, where the Trikke folds busted,....one of the prongs completely off. Well, 30 minutes later I was riding it again! $13.00 for an aluminum welding job. Rides as good as new. So, learn from me here. Don't make your Trikke do the splits! Bronkk is great for backwards, I'm able to keep the legs from splitting or compressing much easier. On the 8, I had to actually use my inner thigh muscles to pull the legs together when they started to spread, but Bronkk just slides it's stretched leg back to normal when I take my weight off that footpad.
