New Wheels

| Gang,
Got my replacement wheels today. BOOM! I smacked those suckers on in a trice....didn't have any blue gloop for the threads but this was an emergency, right? WOW! How many more times am I going to fall in love with this machine? I am soooooo glad I had the molasses bearings for five weeks! Suddenly, seems like I've built up at least some x-tra-mus-kal power. With the new bearings and extra strength, Bronkk is downright frisky now! Musta built up some strength, cuz, wow-zowy, now Bronkk's not balking. It rolls like it's always downhill. Ahhhh..... (In Claudio-speak, my sea anchor's gone, and my spinnaker's fully ballooned with no luff.) And, yeah, still running at 80 PSI. I admit that I scrape my front tire a lot, but I think I'm improving my touch and am getting better at precisely timing the turning that front wheel and mitigating the need to scrape that tire while the turning process is being completed. Stay tuned, I may lower my pressure yet, but heck, the 8 twanged every sinew I was born with, so even at 80 PSI, Bronkk's such a cushy ride that I'd have to scour some dark psychic corner to conjure up a complaint about anything so ridiculously picayune as the small loss of traction the higher pressure causes. 90 PSI anyone? Words fail. It's an esteem engine! It locamotivates me to a place where I love myself. Rubber and metal and me, oh my! As Jim Carrey's Norse god of Mischief, Loki, said in the film, The Mask, so say I: "SOMEBODY STOP ME!" As Loki left the bank he just robbed, he stopped outside in front of a group of thugs that were going to rob the bank also but had been beaten to the loot by Loki. He stood there, having arrived so miracle-cartoon-quickly that a whirlwind had been created that was evidenced by dozens of hundred dollar bills twirling in it and around him. Then he snap snap snapped each and every bill mid-air, never missing a snatch, vogued a pose, ran a finger along the brim of his neon yellow hat, and was gone. That's how cool I feel on Bronkk. Edg
